¿Qué pasa que queda más "cool", "friki" o "de Internet" si se pone en inglés? Me empiezo a cansar de ver cómo la televisión en general usa el "inglis" para parecer más moderna, y en concreto, cuando tienen que poner algo relacionado con ordenadores o con con Internet, parece que al ponerlo en inglés parece "más real".
No entiendo. ¿Acaso no tenemos un idioma lo suficientemente rico como para poner "Fichero" o "Ayuda"? Si tuviéramos un idioma de los raros y en donde la informática no ha generado suficiente negocio con el idioma para ser traducido, aún; pero tenemos un idioma que afortunadamente está presente en prácticamente la mayoría de los software de uso común, los sistemas operativos y en general la informática.
Esta imagen la capté haciendo zapping y topándome con un programa de "Madres adolescentes", en donde "a modo de cámara web" salían en modo de entrevista explicándo su situación. Supongo que, como decía al principio, queda muy "friki" ponerlo en inglés. Ya de paso, por qué no destrozamos un poco más el idioma y ponemos el título del programa en "idioma SMS" y decimos "mdrs adlscnts".
Aún con las 18.749 acepciones americanas nuestro idioma posee de más de 160.000 lemas con los que poder jugar. Si los medios de comunicación no son capaces de usarlos adecuadamente, y la comunicación entre los jóvenes cada vez está más deteriorada por los móviles … ¿qué lenguaje nos quedará en un futuro?
Siempre quedará (alguna de) la prensa escrita, que abogará por nuestro lenguaje … o al menos, lo seguirá intentando.
